I'm a machine learning enthusiast interested in building safe and productive Human-AI Partnerships that enable people to do more of what they want. As an undergrad, I studied Cognitive Science (specializing in machine learning) to learn how to build technology that behaves and interacts in accordance with human mental models and cognitive biases.
My current role in Data Science is on the Innovation team at a company that measures people's media consumption across multiple platforms. Here, I have the opportunity to model and find patterns in human behavior on a large scale to help content providers and advertisers understand and target their audiences better.
In my free time I enjoy reading, traveling and going to art museums. I love painting (see the homepage!) and these days you can find me behind my Minolta x-700 trying my hand at black and white film photography.
